The Library

Over the years, the music has continued to flow. The intent has remained consistent, even as the realizations have taken different forms. Each of these releases has a place of meaning for me. They reflect exploration, discovery, and an ongoing process of learning.

The earlier albums especially capture different stages of that journey. I was experimenting with sound, instrumentation, arrangement, and production, following ideas wherever they led.

Chasing Stray Flames - Album

hasing Stray Flames brings the 30-string lyre into my piano-based compositions. Playing the lyre opened up different feelings and expressions, and I returned to some older melodies with new arrangements centered around the instrument. “Traveler’s Niggun” and “The Printer” continue to find listeners. Meditative in places, but certainly not quiet.

Cinnamon - Single

“Cinnamon” remains one of my favorite singles—a progressive jazz piece that moves almost like a roller coaster through contrasting sections, shifts in energy, and changing musical ideas. The horns are at their best here. Love that bari sax!

Passion No Distraction - Album

Passion No Distraction came shortly after I stepped away from the world of working primarily for money. Having freedom and control over my time became a catalyst for music filled with wild energy and expression. The title captures exactly what I was feeling: passion with no distraction. The production reflects where I was in the learning process; the feeling and sense of release are very much there.
